Get Involved

We work closely with North Somerset Council’s Economic Development team and with businesses and organisations from across the private sector to support our start-up and small business clients. We are also part of the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) for The West of England, helping to ensure that the needs and views of local start-up and small businesses are heard.

We welcome hearing from individuals, businesses and organisations who wish to support start-up and small businesses and have a wealth of sponsorship opportunities available across a range of courses and initiatives as well as roles for business mentors and the provision of advice clinics and free business services for our clients.

2013 will see the opening of The Hive, our new business development centre at Weston Park which will offer our clients flexible office space with on-site business support services including advice, training and networking. The new building will offer even more opportunities for our sponsors and supporters to get involved with our work.

If you are interested in stimulating, encouraging and supporting local enterprise and helping to create a healthy local economy and would like to discuss how you could become involved, please contact our Chief Executive Angela Hicks on 01934 418118.

Did you know?

As a not-for-profit community enterprise North Somerset Enterprise Agency has been supporting new and existing small and medium-sized businesses in the locality for over 20 years and in its time has helped some 2,700 new enterprises to start up and around 3,300 local jobs to be created.

What businesses say about us..

"Having been involved with North Somerset Enterprise Agency for some time I have seen the value it adds to the local and wider business community. Within the world of business banking it is a blessing that there is a place to direct excited, yet sometimes daunted entrepreneurs where they can receive the help and advice that they require in order to develop and grow their business in line with their aspirations. But it doesn't stop there; North Somerset Enterprise Agency is not just there for support, it is also a focal point for the business community that strengthens not only the viability of individual businesses but also the business community as a whole."
